WILLIAMS Dies at Tottys Home Aged and Respected Citizen Buried at Church Cemetery; Funeral by Elder Charles Tidwell Timothy E. WILLIAMS, 76 years of age and a citizen of Tottys the greater part of his life, died at his home with a daughter, Mrs. Tom RITCHEY at Tottys, on last Thursday. Funeral services were conducted at the Tottys Church of Christ on Friday at 12:30, Elder Charles Tidwell being in charge. Interment followed at the church cemetery. Deceased was married early in life to Miss Jennie TOTTY who died twenty years ago. They were parents of the following living children: Mrs. RITCHEY; Mrs. Will ANDERSON, Berry, Billie and Edward WILLIAMS of this county; and Sam WILLIAMS of Georgia. He was the last member of the immediate family of his father, the late Mark WILLIAMS, who was a pioneer Hickman Countian in that section of the county, and was a brother of the late Rev. LaFayette WILLIAMS. Other brothers and sisters have lived and died in this county, where the family has long been prominent in the affairs of their community. Mr. WILLIAMS had been a member of the Church of Christ the greater part of his life of useful citizenship. He was successful farmer, highly respected by all who knew him. |
