SHEPARD-MCKAY
     The wedding of Mrs. Ethel Shepard MCKAY of Williamson county, and Rufus SHEPARD of Coble, this county, was solemnized at the home of Mr. and Mrs. P. O. HASSELL at Leiper's Fork, near Franklin, on Saturday evening.  Rev. J. B. Cheek performed the ceremony in the presence of a number of friends and relatives.   Carnations, fern and fall flowers decorated the reception rooms.
     The attractive bride was handsome in a gown of blue satin-back crepe with accessories to harmonize.
     Mr. and Mrs. SHEPARD are at home to their many friends at Coble, where the groom is a successful farmer.  The bride formerly lived in this county, and is well known.
