Rorie Cemetery Listing--Stewart County, TN

Directions:  From Clarksville take Hwy. 79 and enter Stewart County.  Go to Hwy. 46 and turn south on it toward Indian Mound and Cumberland City Ferry.  Go 2.0 miles.  On the left you'll see where there used to be a road crossing a creek.  Pull your car off the road there.  Please do not try to cross this creek in a car or anything less than an all-terrain vehicle.  We recommend walking.  Walk across the creek and follow the old road cut or wagon trail into a clearing.  When you get into the clearing, stop.  Face so that your car is behind you at a six o'clock position.  Walk at a two o'clock angle for 50 yards into the woods.  The cemetery is there.  Look closely.  It is overgrown, and the stones are not really visible from the clearing.
