Following is a transcription of the above person's (TN) obituary from the Fentress
County Gazette, Jamestown, Fentress Co., TN, dated 06/04/1896:
In Memoriam.
On Monday, May 21, the citizens of Little Crab and vicinity were
much grieved to learn of the death of Mrs. Jeannette CONATSER. Sister CONATSER's
maiden name was Jennette BEATY. She was the wife of David CONATSER. She was a
very old lady, her age being 95 years, 2 months and 5 days. She was a mother of nine
children, six of whom are now living. A few days before she died she called her
daughter to her bedside and said that she was happy and that she was going home where
sickness and sorrow can never come. She is missed among us here, but brighter and
happier in the infinite beyond.
