| Hickman County News Centreville, Hickman Co., Tenn. Thurs. Nov. 13, 1924 Child Dies in Detroit; Remains Buried Here The remains of Master George SMITH, Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. George SMITH of Detroit were brought to the home of Mrs. SMITH's parents, Mr. and Mrs. William LEWIS near Luzon, last Monday. Burial followed at the Luzon cemetery. The beloved child was five months and twenty-eight days old and had been ill only a few days when death relieved great suffering. The parents accompanied the remains to their former home, they having lived in Detroit only the past two years. Mrs. SMITH was formerly Miss Delia LEWIS, and Mr. SMITH is a son of the late W. A. SMITH whose death was reported in this publication two weeks ago. |
