F. M. ANGLIN, Aged 83, Former Citizen, Dead
News has been received concerning the death of Francis Marion ANGLIN, 83 years of age, at his home in Williamson County on Monday of last week. Deceased had been ill several weeks and the end was expected by relatives and friends.
Mr. ANGLIN was born and raised in the Fourth civil district of Hickman County and was married early in life to Miss Clara EDWARDS who died several years ago. He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Edna KING of Kentucky, and Mrs. Mollie NICHOLS of Jackson, Tenn., and by one brother, Monroe ANGLIN of Williamson County. Many years of his life Mr. ANGLIN lived in Memphis, returning to Williamson County a number of years ago. He was highly respected thruout his long and useful life; was a consistent Christian character and a member of the Cumberland Presbyterian church; and was a Confederate veteran, having served thruout the great conflict of the Civil War.
Interment was at the Anglin cemetery on Wednesday morning following his death, Rev. Zachariah Sullivan conducting the service which was attended by many friends.
