Obituary for Estelle M. D. King
Following is a transcription of the above person's (TN) obituary from the Dickson County
Herald dated 5/4/1983:
"The funeral for Estelle Marie DeBusk King, 74, of Dickson
was Monday, May 2, at Dickson Funeral Home chapel with Lauren Adkins and Foy Phillips
officiating. Burial was in Gum Springs Church Cemetery in Montgomery County.
Mrs. King died Saturday, April 30, at Goodlark Hospital. A
native of Dickson County, she was the daughter of John Oliver and Harriett Elizabeth
Bateman Young. She was a machine operator with Henry I. Siegel and Red Kap Garment
Co. She was a member of Sylvia Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Richard E. King; five daughters,
Delores Winstead and LaVerne Huggins, both of Nashville, Mary Russell, Tucker, Ga.,
Annette Hampton, Dickson, and Elaine Spears, Kingston Springs; one step-daughter Opal
Hodges, Clarksville; 12 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, two stepgrandchildren and
two stepgreat-grandchildren."
