VIEW LIST OF CEMETERIES IN McNAIRY COUNTY TENNESSEE - GO

PLUNK 
If you are coming from Finger,Tn. going to Leapwood turn  left on Vires Rd.
Follow Vires to Plunk Cemetery Road ,turn left on Plunk Cemetery Road.
Follow Plunk Cemetery Road you will go in front of a house  into a wooded
area, keep to the left and ,go to the end of this road and  you will find
the Plunk cemetery

CLEAR CREEK cemetery is located in the Lawton community, behind Clear Creek
 Baptist Church. going east from Selmer, on Hwy 64, approximately 6 miles,
turn left at the Buford Pusser monument and go back to the west approximately
one mile. Going west from Adamsville, approximately 5 miles.

Houston Cemetery
Located just west of Eastview and Hwy 45.  TAKE hWY 45 S
to the intersection of Hwy 57, at the red light.  Turn west, go about one
mile to the Houston Cemetery Rd, turn left here (south).  Cemetery is about
1 -2 miles on this road on the left.  A very small cemetery, fencedin and

HARDIN's cemetery:
It is just off Hwy 224 N , Leapwood Community. If coming from the Finger,
Henderson or Jackson direction, the Finger road Hwy 199 runs into Hwy 224 and
just across from where these two roads intersect is the road to the graveyard.
There is a sign that says Solitude Freewill Baptist Church. It is 1-2 miles down
that road. This road is located about 1 mile north of Mars Hill cemetery

HWY 22/142 IN SHILOH, TAKE PRATT LANE ABOUT 2 MILES WEST, SHARP CURVE
TO THE LEFT, TAKE GRAVEL RD TO THE RIGHT, THE GRAVEL RD ENDS ABOUT 1/2
MILE, TAKE OLE FIELD RD, CROSS THE LEVY AND TURN LEFT ON ANOTHER FIELD RD,
GO ABOUT 1/4 MILE AND ITS ON THE RIGHT, CANNOT BE SEEN FROM THE ROAD, YOU
HAVE TO GO INTO THE WOODS TO SEE IT







COOK cemetery. 
The answer came back that it did not exist.  A few weeks ago I located the
cemetery on Barham Rd between Plunk Rd and Albert Owens Rd.  Barham Rd  is
the fourth road east of the railroad tracks in Finger going towards
Adamsville.  Buried in this cemetery are the Cook, Beard and Barham or Basham
families.  I can send a map of the area if there is an interest.

"Carter Cemetery" it is located just off hwy 2 just NE on
Michie TN. Turn down the road beside Greer` s Egg farm, it will be about
1/4 mile on the right..

Nethery cemetery - Carr , Coleman and Nethery Cemetery are all located together. They are located on Sulphur Springs Road about 1-2 miles north of Hwy 57. There are two way to find these cemeteries.
(1) Take Hwy 57 through Ramer until you get to Sulphur Springs Road. Turn right on Sulphur Springer road and go 1-2 miles. Carr and Coleman will be on the right and Nethery will be on the left.
(2) From Selmer take Hwy 64 West, turn left on Sulphur Springs Road. Go several miles , past the Sulphur Springs Church and then 3-4 miles. Nethery is on the right and Carr and Coleman will be on the left. (If you come to Hwy 57 you've gone too far, turn around and go back about 1-2 miles.
The cemeteries are very hard to find. There may be an old field road where Coleman and Carr are. About 20 years ago, the Nethery Cemetery was located on a dirt road that is no longer in use but may be visible.
