Mary Thompson b. 1902 m. James H. Henley

Samuel C. was known as "Turk". He lived his whole life in Marion County (Martin Springs and Battle Creek area). He and "Myrt" as she was known, raised their family in Henley Cove on Battle Creek.

Samuel and Myrtle had 9 children:

1. Millie Jo (she died as a child)
2. Martha Ann b. 9/25/1914 d. 10/6/1973 m. Luther Riley White in 1930; later m. Samuel Aaron Smith.
3. Beulah b. 1919 m. Carl Ladd (Beulah lives near Chattanooga)
4. Allie b. 1921 (deceased) m. Gilmore Roberts
5. Mary Lee b. 1923 (deceased) married several times
6. George W. Thompson b. 1926 m. Mary Kate King (George was killed in a car crash on Battle Creek in late 1960's)
7. Gussie Mae b. 1927 (deceased) m. Elbert Wilder, Jr.
8. Myrtle Margaret b. 7/31/31 m. 1Vandy Goodman 2Charles Webster (Myrtle lives in Ohio)
9. Jennie Lou b. 1933 d. 1949
