This indenture made this 11th day of November in the year one thousand eight hundred & forty one between Charles B. Raines of the one part & Jackson Pryor of the other part, both of the County of Marion & State of Tennessee, Witnesseth, That for and in consideration of the sum of six hundred dollars in hand paid, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged Sd Raines hath & doth by these presents grant, bargain, alien, enfeoff & confirm unto the sd Jackson Pryor, his heirs, executors & administrators two certain lots of land in the town of Jasper, known and designated in the original plan of said town as lot No. 59, containing one quarter of an acre, it being the lot whereon the sd Raines now lives. To have and to hold the aforesaid lot of land with all & singular the rights & profits, emoluments & appurtenances belonging or in any wise appertaining to the same, to the only use and behoff of him the said Jackson Pryor, his heirs & assigns, Also lot No. 53, it being the same lot of land adjoining the above described lot on the east and now occupied by the said Raines as a garden & horse lot. To have and to hold the aforesaid lots or parcels of land with all & singular their appurtenances unto the said Jackson Pryor and to his heirs forever from the the claims and demand of all & every person or persons claiming by, through or under me, the sd Charles B. Raines as heirs or assigns. In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this day and year above written. Signed, sealed in the presence of.
