Funeral services for Melvin Turner Dixon, 69, member of a pioneer Marion County family, who died Tuesday at his home in Jasper, Tenn.,will be held at 2 p.m. (CST) Thursday at Jasper Church of God.
The Rev. Joe Colston will officiate. Interment will be in Lasater Cemetery. The body will lie in state at the church for one hour before the services. The body is at the home in Jasper.
