The quarterly publications contains articles from anyone who wants to contribute their story based on honest research and information. Photos and images are welcome to enhance the readers enjoyment and clarity. Deadline for article inclusion in the upcoming Distant Crossroads is 2 weeks prior to end of quarter.Generally, articles are written concerning people and times prior to 1935. All articles are to be sent to editor M.J. Clark.

Distant Crossroads was started in 1983 as 4-page annual publication but in 1984 decided on a 32-page quarterly journal. While many genealogical societies have stopped producing altogether or have reduced to just once per year, the Hawkins County Genealogical and Historical Society continues to produce a quarterly journal with topics interesting and informative to its readers. So, we are interested in your stories. Distant Crossroads are free with the $20 membership fee.
