This is the beginning of the listing of various Wilson County (and some Davidson Co) cemetery inscriptions I copied in the 1950s when I was still in high school. Hopefully, not too many of the dates and/or names were erroneously transcribed.

NOTE: Sophia V. Drake Alford was wife of Wiley; Shadrack
Jarmon was their son- in-law, first husband of their daughter, Sophia Valentine
Alford (1828-1895) who is buried in Sumner Co;
Sue E., was Susan Elizabeth Jarman, their only child and wife of Pleasant
Jonas Carver, whose name is variously written interchanging his first two
names.
Also buried there is JAMES TRUMAN HIBBETT, son of IRA KNELAND HIBBETT and
MARTHA JONAS CARVER, the latter a daughter of the Carvers.
There is an infant child of the Carvers also interred there.
