Located across the road from Mt. Zion Church in Old 23rd District. (Copied from: (1) Mr. Ray Williams' records, which indicate that there are no names or markers in this cemetery; (2) T.V.A. records, which have a few brief handwritten notes concerning nearest relative; and (3) The Kentucky Lake Cemetery Relocation Project comp. by Judith Ann Maupin (1975) which states that "This cemetery was well above the flooded area but the access road would be periodically flooded. The burial ground was very old and neglected, located in an open pasture. Remain permits were executed on 41 persons known to be buried here, and no further action was taken.")
