Lawyer, his name was above
reproach, a synonym for
learning, for intellectual
ability, and for
incorruptible integrity as
a citizen in all the
relations of life. He was
without exception true to
duty. He died 04 Jan.
1884 and his mortal
remains are buried beneath
this monument.
