CEMETERIES
Thanks to the efforts of Suzanne, we are able to bring you Sue Reed's "Compendum of Henry County Cemeteries". Reprinted with permission.
Brooks Cemetery
Located 18 miles Northeast of Paris on Highway 79. (Copied from: (1) Mr. Charles sanders' records, which indicates there are no marked graves; and (2) The Kentucky Lake Cemetery Relocation Project by Judith Ann Maupin (1975) which states "Located well above elevation, this very old, abandoned cemetery had its access flooded by the lake. It was located in an open field. Members of the Brooks family were buried here, but no further information could be gained nor could any surviving relatives be found. No further action was taken.")
