WE, D. H. Thomas, J. P. Simmons and Otho King are held and firmly bound to the State of Tennessee, in the penal sum of Three Thousand Dollars.
Witness our hands and seals, this 5th day of January A. D. 1885
The Condition of the above Obligation is such, That whereas the above bound D. H. Thomas has this day renewed his bond as Guardian of James Edward Dixon and John Garfield Dixon.
Minor heir of James A. Dixon deceased.
Now, if the said D. H. Thomas shall well and truly perform the duties which are or may be required of him by law as such Guardian, then this obligation to be void; otherwise to remain in full force and virtue.
Acknowledged and approved in open Court, this 5th day of January 1885.
