According to the Jonesborough Stroll Tour, "The house, believed to be the loldest log structure in Jonesborough, was constructed of chesnut dove-tailed logs on a limestone foundation.,  A fram addition on brick foundation was joined to the log structure in 1818, and board and batten sideing and the verandah style porch were added in the early 1900's."

Now the Hawley House Bed and Breakfast.
