MARKING OF BRANDON-SYKES "SHOWBOAT" HOUSE HISTORICAL MUSEUM
Captain Charles Barham Chapter dedicated a marker on the Brandon-Sykes Historical Museum at 178 Cedar Street in Dover, TN, on Saturday, September 27th at 10:30 a.m.   Pictured at left in front of the marker are State and Chapter Treasurer Geraldine Sykes, State President Linda Harris, Hon. State President and Chapter First Vice President Pat Boals, Hon. State President and Chapter Chaplain Beverly Wood, and Hon. State President and Clarendon Chapter Second Vice President Aline Roberts.  More pictures from the marking are at bottom of page

Above is the view of the museum from the road.  At right is the temporary marker that was placed on the house during the ceremony.  The permanent marker is on order and will be installed as soon as it arrives here.
