Know all men by these presents that I, Thomas Murray, for the consideration of Four Hundred Dollars, to me is hand paid, the reciept whereof is hereby acknowledged, have bargained and sold and by these presents do bargain, sell and deliver unto Richard Linville, two negro girls named Rachel and Nancey, the one ten and the younger six years old, Whom I do hereby warrent unto the s'd Richard Linville, his heirs and assigns against the lawful title, claim and dehand of all and every person or persons Legally claiming or to claim the same.

 

Given under my hand and seal the 3rd day of March 1812
