Robinson is on Robinson Ridge in the Tennessee Basin 
Divide between the Cumberland River 
watershed and the Duck River watershed. It is near the 
site of the vanished Old Fort Nash established in 
1784 by North Carolina to help protect the Cumberland 
Settlements. There is only a cemetery there now.
