Where and when many of them sailed to the US, I don't know.
I don't know where they landed either.
We do know that Joseph Kay married an Elizabeth (?) and lived in Apple?Ridge, England.
They had 2 children Sarah b. Nov 17, 1817 and William b. Leeds Oct 25, 1812.
He married Elizabeth Booth. They settled in Kaysville, WI later Platteville.

I have the paper from Quarrier Home in Scotland where Robert Notman KAY was sent to prior to
being sent to Canada in 1894 at age 14 it stated that Roberts father was a collier dead but no
information on Benjamin KAY. Can anyone guild me from here any suggestions where to look next.
I know Elizabeth KAY married James PEARSON in 1893 I have the marriage licence it also stated
she was a widow and was the daughter of David NOTMAN stonemason deceased..
Elizabeth and the children were all boarding with James
PEARSON on the 1891 census living at 13 Harrison St. Atherton with another child being
born although I have a letter from Jane's husband Alfred HICKMOTT who were living in Shanghai
China in 1920 saying she had the name WATSON and didnt know who her parents were and
wondered why his last name was KAY and hers WATSON.
