The Hope Street Particular Baptist Chapel is located in Rochdale Lancashire and was
formed in 1809 by 9 members of the Town Meadow Chapel (which no longer exists).

The longest serving pastor in the Hope Street Particular Baptist was John Kershaw 1817-1870.

The Sunday School is located beside the Hope Street Particular Chapel. These buildings are
both still standing although the Sunday School is now used as private apartments.
I would like to thank Lea Dunning who kindly offered to help find out about Hope Street Particular Chapel
for me and found it and sent the pictures. Thank-you Lea I couldn't have done this without you.

Lea also sent me pictures of the Millhouse Mill in Whitworth
where the Kay family business James Kay & Son Woolen Manufacturer's was located.
