Mae Arizona Smith is the daughter of Nancy Isabel Standridge and Francis Marion Smith. This is Steve Ingle's grandmother taken with her son Thomas A. Maroney Jr.. His father was her first husband Thomas Arthur Maroney.
Steve Ingle's Grandmother and her sister were named after their aunt Arizona Edwards Standridge. Nancy Isabel Standridge was about 16 years old when the family went with the wagon train to Idaho . The story she passed down was that they followed the Snake River for a long way and the trip was so difficult that by the time they got to Idaho everyone wanted to go back to Arkansas .
