The Art Becker Family | 177 & 178 | Alvina Reich and Art Becker married in Trochu,
Alberta on October 25, 1938. Children: Bernice b. 1941 and Allan b.
1944. Adopted 2 boys: Dale and Myles. |
Mary and Joh Befus | 178 | John and Mary Befus came to Calgary from Russia
in the year 1912 at the age of 22. No Children. John died in 1973. |
Albert Bertsch | 181 | Albert was born in Ashley, ND on September 5, 1898
and came to Canada in 1913. He married Paulina Ohlhauser on October
21, 1919. Children: Lily Ada and Reada. Albert passed away in 1975. |
Mr. & Mrs. Jacob Bitz and Family | 182 | Jacob was born in Southern Russia, north of Odessa
on December 31, 1867. Rosina Leno was born December 18, 1867 in the
Odessa District. They married in 1885. Came to America in 1903. Children:
Mathilda, Gustav, Edward, Theodore, Lydia, Nathaniel, & Arthur.
Came to Canada in 1908. |
Vernon Brost Family | 191 | Vernon and Gladys (Bechthold) and daugther, Sherlene,
cam to the Grainger area in 1954. |
William Craft | 216 | William had worked in the Acme district prior to
homesteading SW 3-30-25-W4. |
Jacob A. Eitzen | 235 | Jake married Helen Penner on June 25, 1933. Children:
Bill, Denver, Lydia, Marge and Jean. |
Theresa Esslinger | 235 | Theresa was born at Turtle Lake, ND in 1906. Came
to Canada in 1909. She married Daniel Weis from Leader, Saskatchewan.
Children: Kenneth, Vernon and Donald. |
The J.C. Fehr Family | 241 | J. Fehr married Mary Sawatsky in 1907. |
The Edward Fischer Family | 242 | Edward was born at Turtle Lake, ND in 1899. Came
to Canada in 1909. Married Sophie Diede. Children: Dolores, Bud, Ramona,
Dorothy, Edna and Dick. Ed died in 1949. |
Emil Fischer | 242 | Emil was born in Acme on November 25, 1913. His
parents were Karl and Christina Fischer nee Wagner. He married Barbara
Reich in 1934. Children: Leroy James in 1936, Ruby Diana June in 1938,
Eleanor Gladys in 1942, and Jeritta Gwendolyn in 1951. |
