Lillie's parents Franklin PROUGH 1864-1891 LaGrange County, Indiana and Cora ZUMBRUN 1872-1927 Noble and Whitley Counties, Indiana.

Franklin's parents were Peter PROUGH 1808 Fairfield County, Ohio to LaGrange County, Indiana to about 1894 on the way to Missouri or Oklahoma according to family traditions and Barbara Thurston 1821 Wayne County, New York to LaGrange County, Indiana to about 1905 Oklahoma according to family tradition. Thought to have died in 1905 in Oklahoma, but cannot be found in the 1900 census with any of their children. Peter is thought to have died in 1894 on the way to Missouri and was buried along the railroad tracks which they were following. They were last documented in 1893 LaGrange County, Indiana. Any confirming information would be geatly appreciated.

Peter's parents were George PROUGH 1781-1808 Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania to Fairfield County, Ohio and Sarah WINDER 1789-1860 Washington County, Maryland to Fairfield County, Ohio. Sarah remarried Nicholas SIDENER. Son Peter immigrated to Indiana with a couple of his SIDENER half-brothers.

George's parents were Johann Peter BRACH 1757-after 1830 Berks and Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania to Fairfield County, Ohio and Elisabeth BREININGER probably Pennsylvania to 1823 Fairfield County, Ohio. Peter was in Captain Nagel's Reading Company of Rifles in the first defense of Boston on July 22, 1775 during the Revolutionary War known as the First Defenders, although this site says July 18, 1775. Their guns were manufactured west of Reading along the Wyomissing River.

Peter's parents were Johann Casparus PRACH 1704 Loetzbeuren, Germany to 1782 (85) Berks County, Pennsylvania and Sophia LAUTER 1719 Oberdiebach, Germany to about 1780 Berks County, Pennsylvania. They were married on February 14, 1749 at the Augustus Lutheran Church Trappe, Pennsylvania. They immigrated on Ship Patience and Margaret from Rotterdam, the Netherlands October 25, 1748 by way of Leith in Scotland. Often mentioned in Zion Red Church Brunswick Township records. Casparus is a proven Revolutionary War Patriot having paid the Federal Supply Tax in 1779 Berks County, Pennsylvania.

There are at least four more generations of BRACH's known in Germany.
