EHINGER Family
Locations
From a 2002 EHINGER Message Board post by Don EHINGER, the name is a small town South East of Frankfurt, called Ehingen. It is close to the towns of Ulm and Zingen, and also not far from Rothenberg, which is an ancient walled town, that is now a well known tourist attraction. Other sites say the name is several small towns named Ehingen in Germany.
Marie EHINGER about 1791-1830 Pennsylvania and David ZIEGLER 1791-1866 Lancaster County, Pennsylvania to Clark County, Ohio had eight children. David's second wife was Lydia FRANTZ 1805-1886 had 12 children. I have found little to no information on the EHNINGER-EHINGER family. Said to be River Brethren in Clark County, Ohio. See also Brethren In Christ.
