The Frieling Cemetery was a family cemetery and one which has survived, but has had periods of complete neglect. The available list of burials is not official and no formal records were kept. The cemetery was established by John H Frieling in 1895 following the death of his first child. Its last known use was in 1925 following the death of another child. A steel fence surrounds the Frieling graves.
This private cemetery has survived partially from the efforts of Tiena
Norman who served as caretaker for many years. She was likely a
child of Oliver and Christina Norman, or is Tiena a nickname for
Christina? When Tiena was unable to continue the Cemetery quickly fell into ruin. |

This listing also gives the date of birth and date of death when available. While specific grave sites are given, no official cemetery record book was kept.3. Photos of Grave Monuments Each photo is matched to the individual listed on a given line entry. Because there is no official cemetery book available the lot number and the grave number are not assured to be correct.
