I am looking for historical/background info on a concrete, barrel vaulted, ramped rootcellar (?) located about 3/4 mile SW of Okreek, south side of Hwy 18, about 80 feet south of the highway. T39N, R26W, Section 16, Okreek Quadrangle. The structure may be destroyed by proposed road construction. |

I am looking for historical/background info on a concrete stucco abandoned store (?) on the north side of Hwy 18, on the west end of Okreek, just off a gravel approach. Appears to be on Patterson property. T39N, R26W, Section 10, Okreek Quadrangle. The building will be destroyed by road construction. |

In 1942, I was enrolled in a country school a few miles south of Mission, SD and on Antelope Creek. I recall that my teacher was a Mrs. Lonker(sp). In general, I seek information regarding the history of that area of the school, etc. Specifically, I am looking to find the location of that school, any photos of the school and a list of the students in the school at that time. I would very much appreciate any help you might be able to provide. |
