I'm searching for the obituary of August MUELLER 1855-1927. He was a prominent citizen of Elkton, SD. He donated the bell for the origional Lutheran church. He died October 2, 1927 in Elkton. Can anyone tell me where to find it?

Information wanted on Arthur F BROOKS. Born in Wisconsin on January 27, 1910 and died August 6, 1997 in Brookings, Brookings SD. He had a brother George Brooks. His parents were Charles A Brooks and Marie or Mary DOBRETZBERBERGER. I would love to have a copy of the obituary and the place of burial. Also looking for spouse and children.

I am wondering if anyone has any information on James RANDALL and his wife, Sarah TAYLOR WOODLE RANDALL. They are shown in the 1880 census for Brookings County, but I have lost track of them after that. Sarah TAYLOR WOODLE RANDALL is the mother of my grandfather, George WOODLE, who lived in Elkton many years. I would appreciate any information anyone might have on the RANDALL family or on George WOODLE's siblings. These would be Frank, Mary (or Mercy), and Alpheus WOODLE, and Cora RANDALL.

Any information for a homestead in Brookings County,for Emmet Judson BROWN in or around 1881, would be of much help to me. What I have so far is that he came from Michigan in 1878, to Sioux Falls, went into the grocery business, went to Brookings Co. in 1881 & filed on a homestead claim.

I am looking for information about Lars MADSEN. His wife as Kirsten PETERSON MADSEN. They live in Laketon, Brookings Co., SD in the 1880's-90's. Their daughters were Petrea Madsen ANDERSEN (moved to Polk Co. Oregon) and Katrina (who may have been twins). Lars and Kirsten Madsen immigrated from Thisted, Denmark. Does anyone know where else Lars and Kirsten lived and where they might have died? Does anyone know more about Katrina Madsen or if there were any other sibllings?

I�m looking for any information about my great-aunt Sara THOMPSON born 1857 in Luzerne Co., Pa. Based on her sister�s obit, I know Sara was living in SD in 1920s. I just found an entry in the 1930 census for a Sara (nee WYANT) THOMPSON, age 68, widow, who is living in White city (ward 1)�Sara�s age (+/- 3 years) and her parent�s birthplaces are correct. I�m pretty sure this is her. Any assistance in finding an obit or other reference would be greatly appreciated.

I am looking for the family of Harvey G. FOX . He was b: October 27, 1858 and d: August 27, 1927. He married Mary L. PARSONS. They had four children, all of whom where born in Brookings SD. 1) Bertha M. FOX b: June 10, 1922 and married a ALGARD ? 2) Hubert H. FOX b: 1884 and d: January 18, 1935. 3) Merle E. FOX b: 1888 and 4) Forest W. FOX b: 1890. I have a little more on Hubert and Merle. Hubert married Pearl S. ? in 1908 in South Dakota. They had four children, 1) Maurice M. FOX b: 1908 Brookings, 2) Charles E. FOX b: 1909 Brookings, 3) Glady G. FOX b: 1913 Brookings, and 4) Donald C. FOX b: 1917 Brookings. Merle married Mildred ? and they had one son Harvey FOX b: April 26, 1907 Brookings. If any one can help me with this branch of my family that would be great.

Researching OHSE surname in White Twp, Brookings Co., South Dakota. Family of Julius E. Ohse. Wife Armelia and daughters Violet and Myrtle. 1920 Census shows Julius 52 years old, occupation carpenter. Oldest daughter Violet age 21 a school teacher in the public schools. Would like to make contact with descendants of this family or anyone that would be willing to do lookups in this area.

I am trying to find Harden Asher PARKE, he was a barber in Elkton around 1891. My grandmother Maytie O. PARKE was born in Elkton in Aug. 15, 1891, her mother was Ada Rebecca EVANS. I'd appreciate any information I could get on them.
