I seek family of CHRISTIAN RUEHL, who lived in White, SD, Brookings County. He died there in 1920, and had married Johanna RECKRODT widow of August RISCH. I believe this was a second marriage for both. Christian's first marriage was to Christina SCHIBEL. They had a daughter, Elizabeth RUEHL, b Dec 08. 1862, who married William Mike ODENBRETT. Their daughter Theresa, b June 13, 1896, married William Henry ILLGEN. Christian RUEHL was born in Gruenberg, Hessen Darmstadt, Germany on Sept 17, 1830. I am descended from his older brother, Conrad RUEHL, b 1826, who resided in Milwaukee WI. Happy to find and share any RUEHL family sources with descendants of Christain RUEHL or researchers.
