John who married Jennett Dial was born in Chester, S.C. moved in the early 1820's with 11 children to Perry Co., Alabama. They married abt 1800 and all the children were born in Newberry, S.C. |

District by 1783, when his son James Love was born. Mark was married to Sarah ORR, who was born in Newberry County. Mark Love enlisted as a horse soldier at age 13 in the Revolutionary War. By 1811 he and his family moved to Blount, Tennessee, and later to Bath County, Kentucky where he drew a pension from the war and died in 1830. Mark Love came from Ireland when he was 9 years old on the snow ship James and Mary. | |
