To whom it may concern I do hereby acknowledge that I have rec'd from Wm H. McMurray full compensation for one hundred fifteen acres of land more or less supposed to be the one half of a tract of land owned by Wm Nesbit, dec'd lying on Cain Creek in the Dist and State aforesaid which I herein ____ by the right of my wife Violet Nesbit which land was transfered by Agnes Nesbit to John J. Nesbit then John J. Nesbit to R.E. Robinson ___ R.E. Robinson to the said Wm H. McMurray. I do hereby ____ of my heirs, executors and assigns do quit claim as possessing to said part and parcel of land ___ . Given under my hand and seal this 5th day of Nov anno domini 1839.
