WILL OF TIMOTHY BRITTON
IN THE NAME OF GOD AMEN: TO ALL TO WHOM THESE PRESENTS SHALLCOME KNOW ye that I Timothy Britton of Prince Frederick's Parish and CravenCounty being sick and weak of Body but of Perfect mind and memory thanks be to God for it and knowing that it is appointed to all men once to die do Give and Bequeath my Worldly Estate in manner and form following. IMPRIMIS: My whole Estate both Real and Personal to be Equally divided between my Beloved Wife Mary Britton and all my children and do Constitute and Appoint for my Exors my Wife Mary Britton and my Brother Joseph Britton and my Brother in Law Francis Goddard and do own & acknowledge this to be my Last Will and Testament and do Revoke all former Wills whatever IN WITNESS whereof I have set my hand and Seal this third day of January AN DO 1749-50.

This Will was proved by Virtue of a Dedimus before Elias Topin, Esq. the 7th of Nov. 1750 by the oath of John Rae and 27th of said month Mary Britton and Joseph Britton Qualified.
