WILL OF DANIEL BRETTON

In the Name of God Amen, I Being in my Perfect Senses and Memory I give and Bequeath to my Beloved wife one housewench named Phillis and one boy her son named Wilkins and one boy which is now at Cape Fear named Simon one Girl at the ferry named Vensus one Girl here named Kitty & one girl named Nanny. The Remaining part of my slaves with children, consists of Eighteen in Number to the Child either Male or female now in the bewies of Mrs. Elizabeth Bretton wife of Daniel Bretton the Remaining part of the Estate to be sold at Publick Vandue by the Executors Capt. Francis Bretton, George Hyrin in S. Carolina & Elizabeth Bretton This to be & Remain as my Last Will & Testament as Witnefs my hand this 8th Day of June Anno Domimi 1748 /.
