In Re:: The Estate of Thomas L. Harrelson
To: C.P. Quattlebaum Esquire Probate Judge
The petition of Gabe L. Ellis respectfully shews
I That Thomas L. Harrelson of the county and state aforesaid departed this life intestate on the 21st. day of October 1879 and at the time of his death was seized and possessed of a considerable personal estate, consisting of household and kitchen furniture, cattle and stock of various kinds and credits amounting in all to twenty -five hundred dollars value
II That the intestate left him surviving Martha M. Harrelson his wife and Thomas D. Harrelson, Solomon R. Harrelson, James R. Harrelson and Wade Hampton Harrelson, sons
III That Mrs. M.M. Harrleson the widow of the intestate and sister of your petitioner (earnestly) requests your petitioner to administer on said estate as there are some debts to be collected and some to be paid
Wherefore your petitioner prays that letters of administration may be duly granted to him on said estate and that a warrant of appraisement be duly issued
