Surveyed: 3 Aug 97
This cemetery is located on Highway 36 about 4 miles from the
intersection of Highway 261, 701 and 36. The original grant was
to Andrew Collins. It was purchased by George Skinner I in 1763.
It is believed that he was married to Jean Grier. It then became
the home of his son George Skinner II and his wife Elizabeth
Britton, who is buried in this cemetery (Mrs. Elizabeth Collins).
Many years later, it became the home of Thomas Bath and his wife
Mary Elizabeth Johnson.
