Mrs Emma Best Patrick Massey, 65, widow of Wallace Massey, died Sunday afternoon at the home of her son, C C Patrick, on Willow street. She has been sick about two months.
Funeral services were conducted at 4 o'clock yesterday afternoon at the Gaffney Funeral Home by the Rev H L Kingman, pastor of the Buford Street Methodist church. Interment was in the cemetery at the Providence Baptist church with the Gaffney Funeral Home morticians in charge.
Mrs Massey is survived by her son, C C Patrick, and a daughter, Mrs R M Miller, of Cowpens; three sisters, Mrs J W Muse, Mrs S M Waddell and Mrs J W Hollyburton, of Asheville, NC; and seven brothers, J B Best, of Clyde, NC; T B and F W Best, of Lumpkin City, Tenn; J M Best, of Canton, NC; Bonner Best, of Chatsworth, Ga; Sam Best, of Andrews, NC; and J W Best, of Gaffney
