They go back to the early 19th century, and no they are not marked, but there has been some documentation. A George Welborn did an article in the Pickens Sentinel in the 1970's. I remember my dad and I going with him to the graves so he could photograph them. There is one row with about 10 graves just marked with stones. Most of the Kirksey family had left Pickens by 1830 so these graves are old. Vashti is my great whatever uncles daughter, and my wife and Gary Britewell's whatever great aunt.
