Reunion. Without a doubt, the best genealogical database program for Macintosh. Version 7.0 is now available and it includes web-ready pages.
Generations. Leister Pro sold the PC version of Reunion to Sierra who has taken it and added their own ideas. This genealogy database program one of the best-loved programs on the market!
Master Genealogist. One of the best for Windows or DOS, though at the high end of the pricing.
Family Origins. Moderately priced, it holds its own with the big guns.
PAF - Personal Ancestral File. Follow the menu item on the left that reads "Order Family History Resources." Developed by LDS and the first program to use GEDCOM capabilities. Available for Macintosh also.
Family Tree Maker. Some folks love it, others hate it. You decide. Available for Macintosh also....but get Reunion. : )
Brother's Keeper. Not as sophisticated as some others, but still a good little program.
Family Gathering. Available for Macintosh also.....get Reunion. : )
Ultimate Family Tree. Based on events, rather than the basic birth, death and marriage data, you can store virtually any piece of data you come across in this program.
