49. Catherine⁴ Ferry was born in Virginia before Apr 1798.⁽⁴⁶⁾ Catherine died April 7, 1866 in Illinois, at 68 years of age. Her body was interred Apr, 1866 in Atwood, Douglas, Illinois, Taylor Cemetery. Her gravestone sits beside her husband John's and says "Catharine, widow of John Moon, died Apr 7, 1866 in the 68th Yr. of her Age."

She married John Moon in Maryland, Abt 1817.⁽⁴⁷⁾ (See John Moon for the children resulting from this marriage.)
