Marsh Cemetery
Stanhope, Stanstead County, Quebec

 

Location:  This small cemetery is found on the Baldwin-Stanhope Road near the village of Stanhope and not far from Route 147 and within a few kilometers of the U.S. Border.

In church records it is sometimes referred to as the Daniel's Burying Ground.There are several stones difficult to read. It was used from the 1850s and is still used for the occasional burial. It is maintained by the Crooker Brook Cemetery Association.

We last visited and photographed this cemetery in 2015.
