Hill Cemetery
Fitch Bay, Stanstead County, Quebec

From Georgeville follow Route 247 South. Watch for East Road (Ch de l' Est) on your left. The cemetery is on your left a couple of kilometres and is hard to spot. It is in back of the old restored Richard Copp place, presently owned by the Lord family. You will need permission from them to cross their property to get to the cemetery on the knoll in back of their place. 

This cemetery referred to in church records as Hill and Copp Cemetery is overgrown with brush and small trees but most of the remaining stones are standing or propped up. It appears to have been used mostly from about 1840-1870 but there is a headstone as recent as 1974. I visited this cemetery on Apr 23, 2007.
