Crystal Lake Cemetery

From the North end of town, cross over the autoroute and stay on Fairfax Road less than half a mile. The cemetery cannot be missed as it is a huge sprawling cemetery with three entrances on the left. Behind the cemetery can be seen Crystal Lake.

The cemetery has been used since the first settlers arrived here in the early 1800s. Some stones were deposited here from small burial grounds. The oldest stones date from the 1830s and like most old cemeteries, there are unmarked graves. It is a beautiful cemetery, well looked after, with 3 access roads and many lanes througout.
