This Bible was very graciously given to me in March 2000 by Anne (Peterson) Janda of Bloomington, MN, who had purchased this Bible at a benefit book sale about 1982. It was sponsored by Mt. Sinai Hospital in Minneapolis and the hospital closed shortly thereafter.
William Henry YOUNG was b. 13 Apr 1815, s/o Jacob YOUNG & Arlotta COVEY of Noyan, Quebec. Jacob YOUNG b. 14 Dec 1779 was brother to my ancestor, John YOUNG b. 17 Jun 1781, and his wife, Arlotta COVEY b. c1778 was sister to my ancestor, Lydia Ann COVEY b. 1786. William Henry married twice: 1) Lany Rowe and 2) Nancy Cochrane.
I
feel so lucky to have been contacted by Anne, and for her marvelous gift. YOUNG
descendants will love to feast their eyes on these marvelous Bible records.
I put off scanning the pages for a few weeks as I was afraid they might separate
from the Bible as they were so very fragile. Unfortunately, the 2nd page of
records did come out.
