About Edmond Clément

Edmond Clément was a Notary in the District of Bedford Notariat between 1836 and 1871. He received his commission on August 4, 1836 and started the same year, when he practiced in both Valentine and Saint-Athanase at Chambly. He remained until 1842 and then practiced in Montreal in 1842 and 1844 to 1848, as well as in Ormstown, in 1843, and Farnham from 1848 to 1871. Edmond Clément's original documents are held by Bibliothèque et Archives nationales Québec at Sherbrooke with microfilm copies available from BAnQ and other sources.
