Pomorskie Wojewodztwo

(Pomeranian Province)

Pomorskie Province is located in north-central Poland and shares it's borders with the Baltic Sea
to the North, Zachodinio-Pomorskie to the West, Wielkopolskie and Kujawsko-Pomorskie to the
South, and Warminsko-Mazurskie to the East.

The countries current borders were established May 1945 and correspond very closely to the Poland
of 1138. Since the "Partitions of Poland" starting in 1772 to the present, the Administrative Divisions
[Wojewodztaw/Provinces, Powiat's/Districts, Miasto's/Town(ships)] borders have changed multiple times.

The current borders of these divisions were implemented effective 1 January 1999.
