Both my paternal Grandparents, Stanislaus GALUS and Martha nee KUDRON, immigrated to Nebraska USA from the neighboring villages of Łęki Górne and Łęki Dolne in southeast Poland. At the time of their immigration this area of Poland was known as Galicia and was under the rule of Austria. Today these two villages are in the district of Podkarpackie.

In the course of researching my family lines I've extracted hundreds of records from the microfilmed church records for the Parish of Łęki Górne.  The following is an index of these LDS microfilms with links to the records I have transcribed.  This is a work in progress; it is not complete.
