There is no way to do a complete history of the Mallory Family in this place. Here I hope to outline what I know of the Family from various sources . It is also hoped that other Mallorys will contribute information on their lines to this site. In this way we will create a clearinghouse on the Web for Mallory information. I would like documentation submitted along with histories when possible. I know that this is not feasible in all cases, and that oral family traditions are also important historically. I want to include this type of information also, but will try to note when this is the case. I will do my best to document where it is possible. Information comes from various books by people like A History of the Mallory Family by S.V. Mallory Smith, published by Phillimore & Co. J. B.Boddie, Healy-Pryor and James Mallory. Some of the information comes from courthouse documents and census records as well of LDS Family History Libraries and the Internet.
