In the name of God Amen: on the fifth day of August in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and fifteen, I James White of the Township of Drumore County of Lancaster and State of Pennsylvania being weak and afflicted in Body but of sound Memory and Judgement, knowing that it is appointed for all men once to die now as to the Worldly substance and that I am possessed of or shall be possessed of at or before my decease it is my Will that it be divided in the following manner among my Wife and Children.

It is my Will that my Wife Elizabeth White have one third of my Estate according to Law. It is my Will that my Daughter Margaret Curry shall have five dollars which is in full of her part which with she Hath recd.

It is my Will that my son John White shall have five dollars which is in full of his part with what he hath recd.

It is my will that my son Jacob White shall have fifteen dollars which is in full of his part with what he hath recd.

It is my Will that my daughter Elizabeth Bechtel shall have sixty dollars.

It is my Will that my Daughter Mary White shall have sixty dollars. it is my Will that my son William White shall have one Dollar which is in full of his part with what he hath recd.

It is my Will that my daughter Jean shall have fifty dollars which is in full of her part with what he hath recd.

It is my Will that my Daughter Nancy White shall have sixty dollars.

And further I do allow to my Wife Elizabeth a Bed and the furniture, and also to my Daughters Mary and Nancy each of them a Bed with the furniture. It is my Will that my Real Estate to be sold one year after my decease and then when all my Just Debts are fully paid then each of the Above mentioned heirs is to receive in nominate constitute and appoint my son John White and my son in law Samuel Bechtel Executors of this my Last Will and Testament and do hereby revoke all former or other Wills by me heretofore made and do publish and declare this to be my Last Will and Testament.

Given under my hand and Seal the day and year above written. James White Signed and Sealed and Acknowledged in the presence of Philip Housekeeper and Jas. Buchanon Lancaster County, FS on the 25th day of August Anno Domini 1816 Before me the subscriber personally appeared Philip Housekeeper who being duly affirmed and Jas. Buchanan upon his solemn oath according to Law did declare and say that they were present and saw James White sign his name, and pronounce and declare this to be his Last Will and Testament and at the doing thereof was of sound and well disposing mind memory and understanding to the best of their knowledge observation and belief. Register BE IT REMEMBERED that on the 25th day of August Anno Domini 1815 The Last Will and Testament of James Whte, Deceases, proved in due form of Law and Letters Testamentary thereon were granted to John White and Samuel Bechtel the Executors therein named they having first been duly Qualified well and truly to Administer the Estate of the said Deceased and Especially to Exhibit a tru and perfect inventory within one month From the date hereog and to render a true and Just Account of their Executership on said Estate within one year or when thereto Lawfully Requred Given under the seal of Said Office.
